We are pleased to invite you to the 6th AIROYoung Workshop. After the workshops held in Rome (2017, 2019), Cosenza (2018), and Bozen (2020), and the online version organized in 2021, the 6th Edition of AIROYoung Workshop, with the title “Operation Research and Data Science in Public Services” will be held in Rome (Italy), at Roma Tre University, and take place in a hybrid format from 23rd to 25th February 2022.
AIROYoung is the youth chapter of AIRO, the Italian Operational Research Society. Through a rich and always up-to-date platform, AIROYoung offers a wide network of opportunities to all under 35 who work in the fields of Operations Research, Decision and Data Science. The mission of AIROyoung is fostering collaboration between PhD students, young Researchers and Practitioners interested in OR, providing them with new opportunities to advance their career and expand their network, allowing them to present their research and to create new contacts. Furthermore, AIROYoung acts like a bridge between the academic and the industrial worlds, trying to connect the demand and the offer in the OR job market.
The AIROYoung Workshop, now at its 6th edition, has become an annual international occasion for PhD students and Young Researchers to meet and present their research in a friendly and relaxed environment and possibly start new collaborations with our many participants. After a year of lockdowns and limited travel, we are optimistic that this Workshop will again provide an excellent opportunity for the Young OR community to meet in person in one of the most beautiful Italian cities. This Hybrid workshop offers two attendance alternatives: in-person (onsite) or virtual. Please read the Registration information and select your preferred attendance format. All necessary precautions will be taken to ensure the health and safety of conference participants. We hope to see you in Rome!
